I have always wanted to have a ranch of my own and work with horses. When I was 12 riding horses went from a dream to a reality. Little did I know it would become a career. When I was 14 I started working with a carriage company on special events. Learning a new horse discipline and respect. Not to mention the great experiences that not to many people get to do. At 17 I got my first job, working on a active Arabian breeding farm. Yet again learning so many new things about horses and training. From halter breaking foals to keeping up show quality horses.
When I was 16-18 on several occasions I was able to do an apprenticeship with Lew Sterrett and Sermon on the Mount. I was able to travel the country and learn the fundamentals of breaking horses, bonding with horses and there riders. Also improving my riding skills. In 2016 I starting volunteering at Soldiers Freedom Outdoors. At first it was just grooming and keeping horses in shape for our veterans but it very quickly became something I loved. Getting to be with our Veterans that gave so much for me and our country. I am able to work with and teach them to be around and ride horses. I cant describe the feeling I get with every ride. Soldiers Freedom Outdoors very quickly became my home away from home and the friends I made became family.
