7th Annual SFO Appreciation Dinner

We are excited to announce that our 7th annual appreciation dinner will be held at Circle Square Commons in Ocala, Florida this year.

Doors will open at 4:00pm with dinner beginning at 5:00pm.

There will be numerous Veterans sharing thier story and our surprise guest speaker will be announced in March. It is sure to be a fun filled evening with a live auction, silent auctions and plenty of raffle items. There will be hunting and fishing trips up for auction and some cruises . More information about these trips will be released at a later date. Tickets will be on sale starting February 5th . Dinner menu for the dinner will be ribeye, leg quarter, baked potato, green beans, mac and cheese, and banana pudding for dessert.

Guest Speaker: Lt. Col. Nathan Gulosh

Lieutenant Colonel Nathan Gulosh graduated from the Naval Academy and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps in 2005. As a companygrade officer, he led multiple combat arms units, serving as a Tank and Anti-Armor Platoon Commander, Firepower Control Team Leader, Assistant Operations Officer, Tank Company Commander, and Inspector-Instructor. Across four combat deployments, he planned and executed joint and multi-national operations ranging from theater security cooperation to conventional combat missions.

After completing his company-grade tours, LtCol Gulosh gained invaluable experience serving in enterprise, joint, and interagency environments. His staff billets include Operations Analyst, Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA) Division Head, Cyber Warfare Operations Officer, and Battalion Commander. As an ORSA Division Head, he trained and enabled a cadre of acquisition professionals to evaluate and improve emerging weapons systems.

In his cyber capacity, he led a global defensive mission to safeguard critical networks in support of USCYBERCOM priorities. Currently, LtCol Gulosh is a student at the College of Information and Cyberspace, studying cyber strategy and policy. LtCol Gulosh’s personal awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2x Gold Star in lieu of third award), the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2x Gold Star in lieu of third award), Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal x 2, Iraq Campaign Medal x 2, GWOT Expeditionary Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Medal x 4, and the NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan.
